My brother and I were looking to sell our house so we could leave CA. I admit I “cyber stalk” my realtors before choosing one because choosing the right realtor is important. I’ve had the honor of being one of James’ neighbors for a number of years so I already knew how much he cares about the community and the people who live in it, but when I saw the number of homes he was helping people buy and sell especially in this crazy market, I knew I had made a wise choice. I didn’t know when I first contacted him just how great a decision it would end up being. After immediately agreeing on a sales price (he really knows the market and how much you can get for your home), it was time to get the house ready to photograph. James felt we needed more curb appeal and suggested repainting the front door. Never would have thought of that. He chose the color and it really made the front pop! I got so many compliments on it. After 12 wonderful years in our historic La Quinta casita, we regretfully listed it for sale. It sold in two days, thanks in large part to the steps our realtor, James Suer, had taken. The listing appeared on multiple sites accompanied by an array of photographs that highlighted what a very special place it was. We paid James a big compliment by suggesting his name to another friend/neighbour who also was ready to sell. That home, too, was sold within days.
My wife and I moved from out of state and living out of hotel. I was working full time with a very limited day. My wife and I decided to take the "we can do it myself" approach. We searched Redfin where we met some interesting reps. It was by shear luck I ran into a home where James Suer was holding an open house. I was the first person at the open house; however, James wasn't the normal "pushy" or "judgy" agent. He gave me space to roam as I needed, polite and best of all seemed genuine. After spending a few minutes in the home, facetime w/my wife that particular home was not for us. James gave me his card and asked what type of home I was looking for. He made a mental note, took my information and said he would follow- up. Sure enough he did later that day. Again, I have to emphasize he was GENUINE and not did not feel like he was just trying to sell something to make a sale. James made reservations to view homes around our schedules, had print-outs of the homes and was very insightful about the areas. Often times, we would send him homes outside of what he sent and he would research and get back ASAP, If we were mildly interested, he would take it upon himself to setup viewing just in case .... talk about anticipatory service. I am not sure how many homes we actually saw; but, we made an offer on a home in Palm Desert and got it. He went to bat for some concessions and did everything in his power to be clear with his communication. He did an outstanding job negotiating for us. I have to say, there were moments where I did not want to hear the answer but James was telling us the truth. James was absolutely professional, genuine, detailed and seemed to care; which I felt was the most important. It has been a few months since we moved into our home and have to say he is still available to answer any questions. Thank you for getting us into our home James; we will surely recommend as well as use keep you at the top of the list.

What can I say about my man James! We used James to sell our home and under the difficult market he came thru! It was a long wait to finally sell but my man came thru. It’s a buyers market so you won’t get top dollar but he helped us and guided us to move the house. We are SO GRATEFUL that he helped us accomplish our dreams of getting back to Arizona with our kids and grandkids! Me and wife met James at his first time home buyer seminar, we filled the paper work and within a week we were pre-approved for our loan. We started looking for homes with James and let me tell you we visited over 15 homes all over the Coachella Valley. James helped us purchase our home in May 2022, and I will say he is the best realtor we have ever worked with after doing several real estate transactions over the years. We lived almost 3 hours from where were were looking to buy, and James went to several homes and did FaceTime walkthroughs with us so we could see them before traveling out to see in person. This saves us so much time. Once we found the right house for us, James was on top of the details of filling out the paperwork for the offer, and keeping track of all the pieces as the buying process progressed. Once we closed, there were a couple more details that came up that James stayed on top of. He didn't rest until we were happily in our home and settled.
